Our Mission:
“The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies. The mission of the American Red Cross is to strengthen residents, families and neighborhoods through innovative, volunteer-driven programs that help people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.”
In this space we endeavor to accomplish 3 things:
- Incite discussions around issues the American Red Cross cares about
- To offer you immediate actions you can take (online or offline) to help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies
- To give you valuable information about preventing, preparing for, and responding to emergencies
